Hypnosis FAQ
Hypnotherapy is a dynamic tool that is used by the therapist to assist the client with “reprogramming” the subconscious. The subconscious is a powerful aspect of our personality that drives many of our behaviors. When a person has behaviors, thoughts and impulses that are bringing negative results into their life, hypnotherapy can redirect the subconscious to positive pathways, allowing the unwanted behavior to be replaced by constructive behavior.
Hypnosis is deep relaxation, not sleep. When a person is hypnotized, they are in a very pleasant, relaxed, yet heightened state that allows their subconscious to receive and act on positive affirmations and suggestions. And because the body is controlled through the subconscious mind, and strives always for preservation, it will accept only positive suggestions for your ultimate good!
